The Old Tonbridgian team won the 2010 Bernard Darwin Trophy at Woking in early July for a record fifth consecutive year.

Under the leadership of Jonathan Hubbard, the OT team of Clay and Jenkins, Hubbard and Monteuuis, and Yates and Saggers pulled off yet another victory in this event - the same team winning for the fifth time in as many years. Progressing to the final with victories by 3-0 in each round, the final was a little closer, but a 2-1 win against Radley in the final secured an historic victory, and a winning run that will be hard to emulate.

Recent recruit to the OTGS ranks, having left the School only last year, Josh Mason, playing off a handicap of 7, won the scratch medal by two shots with an impressive 74 on his first visit to the lovely New Zealand Golf Club, against several lower handicap entrants. His second place also in the handicap stableford competition meant he left the Club with a bagful of the day's prizes. With his fluid swing and placid demeanour, he can be expected to be in the frame at many future OTGS events, despite the liklihood that his handicap will doubtless reduce rapidly in the next couple of years.
