Halford Hewitt 2011

The draw took place yesterday for the 2011 Halford Hewitt which is from 7th – 10th April, 2011.

Tonbridge has been drawn in the first round against Whitgift, which is going to be quite a demanding first match. Whitgift are a good side, and this first round encounter will be no gentle start for us.

Our first round match will be played at Deal on the Thursday, 7th April, starting at 3.35 pm (last match out of the day). Please come and support – it will be much appreciated by the team, and it should be exciting viewing.

If we can get through this testing first round, the next round would look, in theory, somewhat easier; the winners of our match will play the winners of Westminster and Brighton in the second round.

Not only did the draw take place at the Halford Hewitt AGM yesterday but our esteemed President, Geoff Clay, added another prestigious appointment to his growing list of illustrious roles, by being elected President of the Halford Hewitt. Many congratulations to him, and best wishes to our team in April.
